Youth Empowerment Program Founding Member UC Davis, Yolo County & Office of Refugee Resettlement
Co-founded a tri-institutional partnership between UC Davis, Yolo County, and the federal Office of Refugee Resettlement to provide services to unaccompanied minors in detention seeking asylum. Helped design and manage direct services at the intersection of humanitarian law, federal immigration policy, and youth development — an early formative experience in transnational governance and community advocacy.
All of Us Board Member San Ysidro Health | National City, CA
Served on the community advisory board for the National Institutes of Health's All of Us initiative — a national effort to collect health data from one million participants with an emphasis on historically underrepresented communities. Contributed a South Bay and border region perspective to data governance, community trust-building, and health equity priorities for one of the largest federal research programs in the country.
